TENCEL™ certifications
TENCEL™ Lyocell is a very special material made from sustainably sourced eucalyptus tree wood pulp. It is a brand developed by the Austrian sustainable textile company Lenzing AG. This textile company produces its fibers according to very strict sustainability requirements. TENCEL™ is the sustainable variant of lyocell. Our 100% TENCEL™ bedding meets all stringent sustainability requirements and carries the certifications of TENCEL™ Lyocell, OEKO-TEX, FSC, and fair trade.
Washing and caring for your TENCEL™ bedding
Fortunately, TENCEL™ fitted sheets require minimal maintenance. But if you want to wash them, they are machine washable. Our advice is to wash them at a maximum of 30 degrees on a short wash cycle. The result will be just as good, and it is better for the material. Moreover, it is more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient. Preferably, use a laundry bag to protect the fabric from damage. You only need to use a small amount of detergent. We recommend air drying your TENCEL™ bedding. It is better for the material, more sustainable, and also more environmentally friendly. If you prefer to use a dryer, we advise setting it to low heat.
